The Appraisal Institute Board of Directors on Sept. 27 sent to 45-Day Notice of proposed amendments to Bylaws and Regulation No. 8, Standards of Valuation Practice, and three exposure drafts.  

The proposed amendments to Bylaws and Regulation No. 8, Standards of Valuation Practice, concern Designated Member status, the Compensation and Benchmarking Committees; alternate chapter representatives to the regional committee, and effective date definition.

The proposed exposure drafts concern policies and procedures for the Compensation and Benchmarking Committees and proposed standards of professionalism.
