The Appraiser Qualifications Board has extended the public comment period for its Second Exposure Draft of proposed changes to the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria .

In response to requests from federal and state regulators and other stakeholders, the Board will accept comments for an additional 33 days, through Sunday, August 30, 2026 .

The AQB values input from regulators, appraisers, educators, professional organizations, and other interested parties. Please review the Second Exposure Draft and submit your comments by the extended deadline.
