NCAI Connect: Everything to Know About PAREA (Virtual)
Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT
Category: Education

Practical Applications of Real Estate Appraisal (PAREA) was adopted by the AQB on October 16, 2020 and became effective January 1, 2021.

PAREA is an alternative to the traditional supervisor/trainee model for gaining appraisal experience and is designed to offer practical experience in a virtual environment combining appraisal theory and methodology in real-world simulations. This experience can be provided through a wide range of online and virtual reality technologies.

The Appraisal Institute’s Manager of State & Industry Affairs, Scott DiBiasio, will speak with NC appraisers about all things PAREA this August. What is the background to this program? What exactly is PAREA? What are the requirements? How is it implemented? Recent changes? Benefits? Challenges? Learn all the information, insights, and updates you need to know about this relatively new appraisal program.

Prior registration is required by 8/9.  There is no CE credit for this webinar.

You are invited to submit questions for Scott in advance here.
