About the Speaker: Don Rodgers

Don Rodgers is the Executive Director of the North Carolina Appraisal Board.  He has been on the Board staff since 2000, serving as an Investigator and later as Deputy Director of Education, before becoming the Director in 2009.

Don grew up in Rutherfordton, NC, and attended R-S Central High School.  He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Management and a Master of Science in Business Management.  He began his appraisal career in 1991, is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor.

Don is a Past-President of the Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials (AARO) and a Past-Chairman of The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council (TAFAC).  He has also taught both Investigator and Regulator training through AARO.

He and his wife Donna, live in Fuquay-Varina, NC, and have a sixteen-year-old son Hunter.
