Join the North Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute for the first installment of the Region V Women’s Initiative Committee (WIN) Speaker Series on Thursday, December 4, 10-11:30 AM EST.

This virtual event features Sara Bronin, architect, attorney, and founder of the National Zoning Atlas, a groundbreaking initiative working to digitize and standardize zoning data in every state across the country. Through this effort, Sara and her team are transforming how communities, policymakers, and researchers understand the rules that shape housing, growth, and equity nationwide.

During this session, Sara will share her motivation for creating the National Zoning Atlas and discuss her team's findings specific to North Carolina. She will highlight zoning conditions across the state’s 653 zoning jurisdictions and present the first-ever comprehensive analysis of how zoning influences housing, land values, and broader development patterns.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a moderated Q&A and learn directly from Sara's insights and experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the country’s leading voices in land use and zoning reform.
