This session equips appraisers with a practical roadmap for integrating artificial intelligence into everyday valuation work. It begins by showing how to spot and mitigate bias in model outputs and prompts, then walks through an adoption framework – use-case triage, data readiness, skill building, and tech selection – before live-demoing leading tools such as ChatGPT (Canvas, Tasks, CustomGPTs), Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. We will use the local North Carolina market time adjustment analysis. Real-world prompts illustrate how retrieval-augmented ChatGPT can automate exploratory data analysis, generate visualizations, and tighten narrative reports, giving attendees tactics they can deploy as soon as they get back to the office.
